A Koniks horse exploring the shallows for some fresh grass. The thick fog of the early morning blurs the surrounding forest. A slightly brighter bean of light tries to break through the omnipresent fog. The deafening silence gives me as the photographer the feeling of being one with the fog, secluded little environment.

It was one of those typical Dutch mornings in Fall. Foggy, the light very diffuse. Nothing seemed to be happening worth my while until I reached this little pond in the dunes. A Koniks horse searching for food, with the sun trying to break through the fog and an amazing moment was created.
